Go Hannah!! I’m currently running the Badwater 267 VR(31 days/267 mi)this month and it’s easily the hardest thing I’ve ever done. My running group(LA Leggers) starts our Saturday group runs at Santa Monica Pier each week so maybe we will see you at the start ha! I’ve also run a couple hood to coast relays in Oregon but this Hellcat sounds absolutely bonkers! Can’t wait to read all about it. You’ll crush it!!
Buckle up and get after it, Hannah--you can do this! As a veteran of multiple 100-mile ultramarathons, I have learned that T. S. Eliot was right: “Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.” If your experience is anything like mine, you will meet some truly amazing people and come back with unbelievable stories to tell!

Outstanding stuff. Some of the best adventures begin as ill-advised ideas...
If you run, you're a runner. As my dad told me 40+ years ago, there will always be someone who's faster and slower than you. No one else cares about your time but you.
Everyone should read, "Once a Runner", ideally 1x/year.
"Bowerman, "Running with the Buffaloes", "Duel in the Sun", "The Perfect Mile" are great books as well. Don't think I saw any of them on the list.
Hannah will ignore the pain (knees, back, ankles). Hannah will ignore the elements (wind, heat, cold). Hannah will laugh at elevation increase and devour the path before her. Hannah will succeed!
I’ve committed to walking the Camino de Compastelo - in April. Im counting on you helping me. Did one marathon 20 years ago. I can do this now. Im 73…
The Camino is on my bucket list too! 💞 thank you for reading
Good luck! The Camino looks like a beautiful experience.
You can do it!

I love this idea… I’m now a retired runner but the thought of being able to follow your journey might have me lacing up my shoes again!

Looking forward to following you on this adventure!
Scott Jurek’s “Eat and Run” has a couple chapters on Badwater if you’re looking for a California desert theme. Go get ‘em!
I love this!! Just stumbled across it today -- really excited to see where this goes.
Great idea for a newsletter! Looking forward to reading about your progress and the race.

I would so do this if there were a bike portion! And it was bracketed by age 😉
Best of luck. Check out Will Goodge who is also running this race!
Sounds really cool. But it's above my pay grade so I'll just live vicariously through you :-)
